Unreal Tournament was one of the most successful video games of the late nineties. But what if it never was a video game? What if it had been a summer blockbuster instead?
Featuring the voice of Phillip Marlowe (aka Planetphillip). Leave your feedback in the Forum Thread.
A lot of work went into the making of this film. If you enjoyed it, please tell me what you liked about it in the Forums or by email at machinima@starfoxweb.com. If you didn't like it, tell me that too! I would like to continue making movies for this site, whether in this particular style, or something entirely new, and I would appreciate any constructive critisism and feedback you can offer.
I have created a "Film" box that will house the links for my movies. The links will redirect you to the public versions on YouTube. Starting with the "Blockbuster" movie, higher quality XVID versions will be available for download from the Foxhole Forums. Registering is free of charge, just click on the "Forums" link from this page, and you will find the download in the "Members Only Section".
It's been a little while since I posted a new comic, so not only do you get to read When In Ravenholm #10, but the first LOLSource, which popped into my head at some point today. True, kittens are arguably cuter then Team Fortress characters and headcrabs, but I hope they bring some amusement to your day.
Ravenholm #10 also marks my upping of the video resolution for the comic. Did you notice?
And now I'm off to play Left 4 Dead. Why aren't you doing the same?
To begin, as you may have noticed above, a new webcomic entitled "When In Ravenholm" is available from both this site and the Foxhole Forums. It is primarily my experiment with serial storytelling using Garry's Mod for Half-Life 2 and some basic image editing. The main site will display the latest page, while archived pages will be made available in the download section. I will continue making updates until I either complete the story or get tired and kill off the characters in a zombie-extravaganza. Excitement and adventure regardless!
Secondly, I am participating in the 24-gaming marathon "Extra Life", in which I play games for 24 hours, while sponsors support the effort. All profits support the Texas Children's Cancer Center. In Texas. If you'd like to support me, go to <a href=http://waystogive.texaschildrens.org/NetCommunity/Page.aspx?pid=210&srcid=211&frsid=740>http://waystogive.texaschildrens.org/NetCommunity/Page.aspx?pid=210&srcid=211&frsid=740. Please note that credit card payments outside of the US are not supported unless through Paypal.
Lastly, the current video project requires the voices to be re-recorded, and this may take a while due to my own schedule and those of the voice actors. I will make a post when the video is finally finished.
My computer files are back, and work has resumed on the new video. If all goes well with the voice actor search, it should be ready for an April release. I'm very excited about this one, I've updated the Downloads section with new screen grabs as well, just to show that work is forthcoming.
The second official Marshall's Machinima video is well underway.... kinda.
After finishing most of the production for the video I had a hard drive crash. I'm looking at getting a new computer and doing some file restores/transfers, and hopefully the files will still be intact and usable. It's the first time I've had sudden computer trouble without backing up my files, so I'm kicking myself a fair deal about that. Just thought you'd like to know, something is coming, even if I have to start from scratch.
